We Wear Diamonds
It is a lonely land, all craggy slopes and weathered posts.
When we go out, we wear diamonds.
We don’t need crowds or money, nothing but a place to sit.
Because when we sit in the wind and the light, we wear diamonds.
Even in this lonely place, harsh and sere, we are not alone.
And when we go out, together, we wear diamonds.
